    just wondering...how much money for decent radio??including everything,of course,mounted in my truck...

    You can have a real nice radio, tuned with all accessories installed for about 200-250. You do not have to be a cb king tohear and talk good if you have a very nice and tuned antenna system.

    You can do it for less than $100. Used Cobra radio, Model 25 or 29, $25 to $50. A 4.5ft or 5.5ft Francis antenna - about $20, plus coax and antenna mount bracket. Under a $100 easy. (I haven't checked the price of coax or brackets lately so I could be off on those, but I would be surprised if you can't still do it for under a $100)
