I went home twice while in tnt phase, once over July 4th week, trainer got sick so I was home 10 days. Went home around the end of August/ begining of September. Shooting for hometime starting Friday for 4 days.

I'm suppose to start training in May ( I know kinda a long way out). My daughters 1st birthday is august 4th. Does anyone know if that would be a problem since i will still be in training? Am contemplating waiting til after her birthday to head out if that is the case.

 

I'm not going to tell you what's best for your family life. There are enough people on this board that will tell you all about it. You should be able to plan a trip home. Just ask to get there a day ahead, and leave the day after.

 

Should be able to work that out... I started in May of this year n got my CDL in June, then started tnt phase. Should be doable, but ask well in advance n remind them about a week before.

 

Sounds reasonable. I want to get on the road as soon as possible. Forgot to ask grace about it when I was on the phone with her. Thanks for Tue replys. This site has helped me so much in making a decision.
