That is a good number. A very good number. I hope you have one like it each and every week.

If you see a blue T2000 with a couple bleary eyed drivers bouncing around the midwest, ... wave!
The Kraft load that was to be ready to ship by 2300 last night was finally ready at 0300. Got as far as Rollo, MO (about 80 miles west of St Louis) and repowered for a load of meat due in the Bronx on Sunday. Driver is out of hours.
Didn't even get out of the parking lot and got a new repower. Trade in Ill for a load of Peterbuilt parts and 'get thee to Ft Worth quickimus maximus!'
My student was disappointed. He was looking forward to the Bronx. He'd never been to NY before our load to Brooklyn earlier this week and now is facinated.
    Stay warm everyone.

I was at the Pilot (?) yesterday at Carneys Point scaling a load. That place was a madhouse!

Had 6.5 hrs available yesterday and hit my 14... o_O

Need 35.5 hours to deliver this load but I only have 31. Even a reset won't save me...

My first repower and I have to leave it in the hands of weekend dispatch to get me a load home. Pray for me...

I lit a candle and a few of the guys got together to say a few words. With you keeping the weekend crew busy the rest of the drivers should have a good weekend. Taking one for the team! :smt023

Prayers are said but only a miracle or the end of the world will get you repowered home on the weekends.

Hello Stevens drivers. I recently applied and was wondering what the next steps are. Received an email that I will have a response within 24-48 hours. I went ahead and emailed recruiting since it is the weekend. How long is the approval process? I heard great things of the schooling at Stevens but heard it takes about 30 months to pay back all the tuition and such and also I should bring lots of $$ for the road so I don't starve. Your thoughts on how much and what to expect

If you dont hear from them by tueday morning call the recruiting office.
doesnt take long to get approved normally. yea, it takes about 3 years to pay back the loan, but as long as you are a stevens driver they pay half the payment for you.

If your single and not much for bills you can make it on the training pay but its tight. if you have a family and bills at home you can get nburied quick lol.

    --------------

finally got off the yard after getting my truck repaired.
Yea, had a harrowing accident a couple weeks ago. Scared the *&^ out of me.
I was on I70 around St Charles,MO ... 3:30 AM and hardly a soul on the road.
It starts pouring down rain so I slow to 55. Its 4 lanes both ways and I get in lane 2 cause theres alot of those Exit Onlys that pop up on you through here.
Another truck comes flying up and starts passing me on the right.
He is almost passed me when all of a sudden the back of his trailer slams into the right side of my cab.
It felt like it grabed hold of my truck and wouldnt let go for a sec, then I go skidding accross toward the Jersey barrier.
Im holding on with both hands trying not to jerk the wheel and get it straight just inches from the wall.

We pull over and get out. I said hey man, you lose it in the water or what, and he says yea.
He calls the HP and we exchange info. The HP shows up and she does her thing.
When were about done she comes over and asks, how far into his lane were you?
What? Me? I wasnt in his lane, he hit me!!

Suffice it to say its now one word against another.

It ripped off my bumper, and side skirts. Messed up my steering and damaged the tire and rim.
Had temporary repairs done at the TA in Forestell, and they are getting me a load to Dallas so they can fix the truck.

Talked to insurance dept and she said they think they have enough info to subjugate it with the other company, whatever that means.
