That is a loaded question that no one single person can answer for you as most vehicles vary in some way by way of type of trailer you pull, what you haul, type of suspension, ect...
Steers, I've had great success with Firestone S 590's as well as Bridgestone's R 280, but currently runny Yokohama's. I've heard some guys achieving 350K to 400K miles on their drives running Bridgestone's, I've got 350K on a set of Michelin SS with 7/32nds still remaining.
Now on my trailer, a step with a spread... I like Yokohama's, yet I have a friend that can't keep them from going out on his 3 axles step.
So you see there is a lot of variables that can effect the life of a tire.

Regardless of the tire brand you opt for, a very good investment would be a 3 axle alignment. The best $200 you'll spend, especially since you're replacing all 10 tires.

I've been very happy with the G399 in lopro 24.5 and they've been on about a year. My WS had 11r on it when I bought it, but the door decal said lopro some I switched back. I like the 399's so much I put 4 of the G572's on the drives 4 months ago. I had to wait 3 weeks for them as they were brand new on the market. I'm putting the other 4 on Monday. I run BS 250ED n my step. I really liked the Mich XZA-2 and dual XDA-HT, but they're discontinued.

How much do 399's go for? Also i was thinking of installing Bridgestones for the drives and GY 399's for the steers. I pull flatbed but never overweight. Mostly drive up to 300 miles each way which puts me at total of 3000 miles a week. I have 3.58 rears and a detroit 12.7 430/470 no EGR. with 13 speed trans if that helps.

As far as the trailer goes i have brand new Hankook 24.5 11r's, it came with this tires when i bought it. I never knew Hankook made tires for trucks and trailers. I will definitely do a full alighment but it is too hard to find a good place that knows what they do. I hear lots of horror stories about different places and not much good stories of what places are good for alighments around Chicago area.

There has been something like 5 price changes since I bought them, so I don't know. I paid 2k out the door for the 4 G572's but there was a price increase the first of Nov. This is national account pricing. The G572 have lower rolling resistance and have 30/32 tread depth. I'm hoping to save some cash by buying them in Oregon later today Z(no sales tax). Good luck.

Sounds like the 572's must be OK if you are buying four more. It is the only other drive tire I am interested in aside from the B-stone 726.

I am will be replacing drives in the next this month. Looking for something with a little bite. I know that I will give up a little fuel economy but being out of IL and running north I just want to be able to stay out of the ditch and even got stuck in MI last year with these POS recaps the dealer put on. And I know how to drive and park in the snow.
So any recommendations would be great.
And don't forget that a lot of states will not charge sales tax for interstate commerce. Just have to complete a form and possible copy of authority for dealers files.HA-MTR Thanks this. -
I got my 4 G572's put on at Wingfoot in Portland, OR. These guys are top notch! My other 4 G572's measured out at 29/32 with over 30,000 miles on them. 1/32 in 30,000 is fantastic. I'd highly recommend these tires, just like my G399's.
HA-MTR Thanks this.
