Dont believe the new drivers

Rock bottom wages are better than NO wages! I've got to make money somehow, and I'm not lucky enough to have the government pay for me to sit at home on my arse! For me, it's trucking or nothing!

 

The OP put a similar post in the "Bad Trucking company" section, as well.

 

$40 a week means you are spending $6 a day. You can't even get a burger/fries and a drink with that. And I'm sure you are not eating once a day. Sit down in a restaurant and you spent $15. A coffee will cost you almost $2.

 

Do you work for a small company? Just curious. That is good money for first year.

 

$40 a week if your buying your food at walmart not a truck stop, it will last.

 

Perhaps Obama is paying your bills... Some kind of new stimulus?

 

Why didn't anyone tell me I had to eat out every day!?
Get a fridge and fill it with foodstuffs; much cheaper than a burger!

 

People with your attitude are exactly why wages are low . Bottom feeder training companies thrive on people like you .

BTW: Trucking really is what I want to do, but regardless. What would you do if you were unemployed, not paying the bills, and there were no other job opportunities (which there aren't in this economy, save for nursing)? Just what would you do?
