And nobody is being asked to be a scout or ground breaker, someone else has done it before you/him at every stop meaning it can be done...IF he had 15yrs experience, nothing he'd be seeing would seem too challenging...

wait? what? I'm a recruiter? Funny, the inside of this 2005 Freightshaker don't look like no cozy office to me! (really so last night in Blackfoot, ID at 22 degrees) and the only cheerleader in my family is my daughter and she ain't on this board! (I didn't look good in the skirt anyway)
Sounds like another couldn't hack it and wants to cry...here, let me get you a tissue. Better now?alex94, Skunk_Truck_2590, walstib and 1 other person Thank this. -

WOW! I had no idea it was only 10-15 hrs total time. Man I'm a wreck as it is when I fly, now that's all I will be thinking about is if I have a brand new pilot on the aircraft..lol
But you've never had a student crash yet so apparently it works. -
53' trailers in places they shouldn't be? Hell that's any company you work for. Might as well get used to it. Try ally docking with your truck in the middle of the street in the Bronx at 9am. Thats a ##### but someone has to do it. I finally stopped my ######## about companies on how they treat their drivers and where they are sent because no matter what company you work for it's always going to be the same ol' ####! Only thing that can make a difference is wheather your dispatchers wife complained of a headache or not the night before as to how good a mood he will be in the next morning.

I've had students that took 50 or more hours to solo as well as those I never solo'd as my gut said, "this person shouldn't be flying alone"...But I'd refer those people to another instructor to see if it was something about me that couldn't allow them 'to get it' or was it them as I didn't want someone to not enjoy the thrill of flying if at all possible...Sometimes it was me...
straitgrl and Skunk_Truck_2590 Thank this. -
Exactly what all is it that is "broken"? In your original post the things you mentioned sound typical for most trucking companies. -
you just wrote:
"I'm trying to make some changes. I have expressed my concerns to the point that I give up."
then you wrote:
" I come to the forum to warn others to look elsewhere if they can, so they can work for a carrier that has a future"
If you took your concerns to the Terminal manager and nothing was done, talk to someone in Missoula....
again like i said before Comeing on here and bashing a company isnt going to help the company. If you want to share a bad exp go for it, but post the facts.
If you truely wanted to fix somthing and you thought this forum was the answer you would have/should have started a thread in the W/S sections titled "How we can improve our company" or somthing to that effect, where we could discuss the issues you have and maybe get somthing done. Or better yet if these "people" that watch us would be able to find said thread and would see your concerns and what we all thought would fix it. But instead you went to Bad Company section and post things that are already known and were told to you before you were hired.
I'm not making this any more personal then you are. YOU came here simply to bash a company that you are having a problem with, that you have little exp with. You didnt exhast all your options or use this forum for the reason you said you wanted to.
Dont look at me, YOU started all this. We just came here to figure out whats going on and to straightin out your story. You continously come back with "cheerleaders and what not" instead of examples to show what your problems are.....
I'm sorry you feel im a bad guy in this or that we all are because we like W/S and feel they treat us well.
