So you must be one of those new school selfish drivers who only care about themselves; as opposed to an old school driver who maybe could have stepped in, tried to help prevent an accident and maybe helped a couple of rookies out ...

So you judge a entire company with over 5,000 drivers based on one incident? Nice Call.
corneileous and venne Thank this. -
I think they still teach get out and look, also there is a thing called a horn it is used to signal when you see something wrong. Everyone needs a hand every once and a while. I know I sure like it when someone lets me know.
venne Thanks this. -
NO, I judge England on 12years of running the road with them and my own personal experience with them. None of which was good. And any company which allows the abuse of NEWBIES for the personal gain of themselves has nothing to offer me or a NEWBIE.
YOU'LL LEARN IN TIME MY FRIEND, GOOD LUCK. -
Driver, you'll learn that you putting your 2cents in to someone else's business out on the road usually will lead to an escalation of the situation especially when it has to do with someone's money.
I would have said something then when the trainer got smart would've had to knock him out then have to try and explain why I was even involved and risk my job.
England should take more pride in making sure they who train are well trained themselves.
Oh, and don't try to act like you know anything about anything until you hit at least your first 1million mile mark. Then maybe you'd have some insight about the road.
Good day my friend and be safe, hopefully you weren't trained by England and have a chance out here. -
Just because you had a bad experience doesn't mean everyone else will. I for one don't have any complaints with the company. If I did, I wouldn't have driven with them for as long as I have. You can make money here, but you have to earn it. As in: Keep out of trouble, and keep your wheels rolling. Accept every load your DM throws at you, and run it.

My husband and I start CR England school in a week. Want to do team driving and this was the 1st decent thing I've heard about leasing. They have a 3 month trial period and we hope to at least check it out.
Any other advice?
Thanks! -
Not sure how it has changed since I was there, but I remember it took me 2000 miles a week to pay the bills, and everything after that was mine. I did not have a problem making good money as a solo.
-
If they were that bad, why did you stay there 12 years?Kevin83165 and THBatMan8 Thank this. -
The trial period isn't 3 months. It is 6 months. You can make a decent living off a lease if you're a team operation. You just have to keep the truck rolling.
