From the get-go, CRST seemed to be really pulling some strings to get me on board, but once it all comes together it only serves their goals. I understood that they are a teams company but the recruiter failed to mention the .22 cpm for solos. I found out at orientation. Twice I was left with the truck as a solo which was out of my control. The first co-d had a bunch of legal issues. He had just finished his home time and two weeks later had to go home for court. This left me solo for a week and the word I had was he was going to have to do it again. I jumped to another truck with a HM driver, seemed positive having more freight available. We both went home for Christmas and he said he had to stay back for a week to take care of issues. He called after that week to tell me quit to go to another company. I was solo for a month making chump change and I only had a list of drivers to sort through. When I was finally going to hook up with a new co-d, some poo-head dispatcher decided to run him way out. It took another week to meet up.
I can understand .22 cpm if you're solo by choice, but not under these conditions. When I told them they just gave me the insufficient return sch-peal. I have a family to support and that's why I quit with no notice. I'm sure I lost out on more than $1300 income driving for CRST. Now I'm driving for a small local company making .32 cpm solo and many weeks I run more than 3k miles. I also get home every weekend for my restart.:biggrin_25522:

That's great man! I'm glad that worked out for the better for you. So many aren't that lucky. They would have to limp off to another mega carrier with a bruised DAC and an empty wallet.
