Prime bought 25 lightweight KWs. They are T660s I believe.

That I know of, they are all now spoken for. We had one gal in our upgrade class get one, but she drove before at another company. She actually really doesn't like it.

Prime is considering the lightweight KWs to replace the lightweight Petes due to dislike most drivers have for the lightweight Petes.

Outside of the girl who was selected for the KW. Our class was small enough that we got to choose between a Freightliner or a Pete. Though if you chose Freightliner, it was random as to what year you will get. Seemed that most people got 2011s though with a handful of us getting 2010s and a few got 2012s.

I originally got a 2012 (Cascadia) but traded it for a 2010 (Columbia).

Also to add. Out of 20 people, I was the only one who had an APU already on his truck. Prime will install APUs, but they are backed up about a month and a half right now on installations.

Also again. Prime is now installing deer guards (metal racks on the front) on all there Cascadias, lightweight and full size, as deer accidents have gone up a lot.

Unlike the KW, this does not have stand up space....

As far as I could see on the picture they are 660's. Look pretty nice. For home time do they mostly get u home "under a load" or are u a lot of the time empty? I'm guessing it also has a lot to do with location too.

I think they get you a load that drops close to the house. In our case that will be within about 50 miles or so.

Do they install them on the 387s? If I have to pay for it, screw that. I've been pretty much paying Prime to let me drive this truck rather than the other way around.
