FLD120 Freightliner Wiper Issues

    Having issues with our 2001 FLD120s wipers, when you turn them off they park halfway across the windsheild instead of their normal parking position.

    What is the fix for this thank you.

    check for power on wiper motor when wipers are off, if everething is OK with wiring, internal contacts inside motor may be worn

    There should be a home switch that is made as long as the wiper is out of the home position. This switch is probably in the motor. When the wiper gets to home position the switch opens and the circuit is shut off.
