Do I have to worry about getting a nasty trainer? There are some horror stories on here about some other companies.

Hey Harley, to answer your question one must have a little more info. Do you already have CDL do you have any OTR experience.
There are a couple threads running now on the Prime forum that were started by drivers that will take you from there day 1 at Prime till the day they got their truck. One such Thread is Posted by Seebs very good
thread to read from start to finish. It will answer alot of questions for you.
    Good Luck.....

hey Cheese, htanks for the reply yea i have read seebs gonna PM him ask a couple things he may not want to post on a board. No DDL i have been a union carpenter for 26 years, am surving but my company (20 yrs there) lost our major account 3 years ago and working 7-8 months a year is not just hard on wallet but harn on the mind ya know. this indusgtry seems similar in ways to the commercial const. field, though vastly differnt.i plan to train, then solo for a year after that then buy a truck with my annuity $ and OO.im single, kids are 17-21 and i thonk the out time will be ok use to it with all the travel ive had to do.so gonna email prime and chat a bit and see what happens, i have about 40-50 hours of work booked for the rest of this year, will finish that stuff and getmy permit, and take the leap.
