Well I hope I get to meet some of you guys soon! I applied yesterday and talked with Tammy at Prime today! The bottom has dropped out on dry bulk. Well at least the company I'm with right now. I have a friend that is a lease op and he is doing really well and I think I'm gonna give it a shot. A little nervous about the simulator and the road test! I haven't used a clutch for shifting in 15years! I hope to have a date for orientation in the next couple of days. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Don't be late, don't hit anything, don't bring more than needed.

Prime seems like a good company to start out with. I just hope I go to Springfield and get hired directly after orientation to start making money again. I went to a training school and "starved" me of pay for three weeks. Then PAM dropped me over nothing. So now I'm sitting on two months with no work and a nice $6K bill to pay for school. Thanks PAM Transport!

Here you get the $600.00 garentee while in training, and if you and your trainer run over 5,000 miles you get $0.12/mile. Pretty good deal if you ask me. Either way welcome aboard and have fun.

Thanks, hopefully this will be my first and long-term trucking job. I always wanted to be a OTR trucker simply because I like to meet new people, I like to travel, and I'm a very hard worker. You hard work pays off in this business and nobody else can take your praise for work you've done. I hate slackers and butt kissers lol!:biggrin_25521:
