Yes call your ins. It won't go against you either
SHC Thanks this. -
You will have to pay the deductable on the policy, but it won't count against you.

The deer probably didn't have insurance I'm betting.
Hanadarko, Working Class Patriot, Speedloader and 1 other person Thank this. -
I see I wasn't the only one, first I had a guy run a forklift though the roof in my new trailer in Kansas City then a big buck ran in front of my truck in western Missouri & did $4100 in damage to the front of my truck. Oh well that is life in the fast lane. Insurance will take care of it all less your decductable, But they will go after the company's insurance that the forklift driver worked for, New roof is $2600

yep, took the hood off and i need a new air to air and radiator is all,and some little incidentals, called work and they got right on getting it towed in on monday and we took it apart on thesday, waiting on parts

Stupid deer?, not really. I think they are really very, very intelligent. What other animal do you know, that can quickly do the calculations, determine the speed of vehicles, so that it knows to run in front of you at the precise time, so it can commit suicide?
lostNfound, Working Class Patriot and SHC Thank this. -
Wow....I got a 6 pt buck in western MO yesterday and it cost me all of $9.35 to fix the damage. 55 mph and I hit it right smack dab in the center of the bumper. All it did was break the plastic clips that hold my right side headlight in place and tweak the bumper a little.Attached Files:

Hit one a couple years ago, Went under the Truck. Took out Exhaust, Crossover Bar, and something else that I can't recall. When he came out the back side, Well.... There was not much left of it!

That's the second one I've hit this year with this truck....total repair bill for both incidents combined is still under $20.
This ol' Mack musta been a tank in a previous life...
