Well, in roughly 7 weeks I will be an O/O. To the folks that have read some of my story My old man decided to finance my adventure. We have been working on the truck and trailer which han't been moved in 6 years. Everything is just about ready. Gotta fix some trailer lights and do a wheel seal on the thrailer. These chicken lights will be the death of me I swear. At any rate I have filed for my authority now just waiting to insure so they become active. Then all I will need is my IRP. Which has been a crazy battle because my business is out of Indiana and I live in Illinois. At any rate I am pretty #### excited to finally get this ball rolling. Not too bad starting out with a nice W9 And a spread axle reefer. I'd say I did ok. Oh yeah and as soon as I get the tractor washed I'll get a pic or two up of the thing.

    Jarhed1964 Thanks this.

Good luck. If it really has been sitting that long, and you have time, you should probably do all the wheel seals since you'll be doing them or having them done on the road soon. Seals are cheap, plus you can get a look at the bearings too.

yeah. The old man has plenty of stock for wheel seals. The truck is really well maintained. Thats why I fought so hard trying to get financed for a 96. unfortunatley bank of Dad had to do it. I have access to plenty of operating capital. and I had to give the old man 10k down. not to bad.

Stay out of Atlanta, GA pay rate dry box in under 1.20 a mile today unless you want to go to Florida & I hear it's less that 1.00 mile going north from there.

Pulling reefer. Atlanta is one of my places though. Have a good broker to get out. Rate is fair.
