Ok A few things I would like to Address,
First the Plug on the side of your Truck near the Drivers Door HAS nothing to do with the Charging system on the truck it is a Block heater, lol.....
Harley investing in a 12 volt charger at Napa a trickle charger will help keep them charged once they install them correctly. Although i have let my truck sit for 10 days while at home and not once ever hooked the truck up to anything with the Dorm fridge running the whole time.
Jumping a KW from the Reefer, First the Dimwhit who ordered the KW's had the Jump post put on the frame close to the motor, you have to have a 24' set of cables to reach the #### reefer, if your trailer is nearby... So that theory is out for most.
The Patti Winters Departure, For those of you who would like to reach her try thinking Social networks, hmm I ain't giving you anymore. Patti is a wonderful person and when I say she will be just fine with her new game plan she is going to be ok, and for those of you who have to adjust to the new DM, well I do not know what to tell you but good luck.
The "hotline" and changes coming comment in the Fleet wide message, As Foxfire has said they are working on changes for the positive, I said this a while back but nothing happens overnight..
TysonDriver,
I would like to correct you on the detention pay and layover pay you spoke about, You are not 100% right but close... depending on your Load Header, You are right about the Out time and pay there after, with the exception that you are dispatched early by your FM/DM travel agent whatever. You DM is the one who puts in for the Pay, Layover detention, or Breakdown. If you are able to convince your DM to pay you more congrats, if you just laydown and take what they give you well then you get what you get. In Tankermans situation there is more than just detention pay in question, He frankly got shat on. And in the End I am more than confident that this will get resolved in a positive outcome. I will go out on a limb and say I am pretty sure he will get a new DM, uhh what do you think Harley did it work for you??

Oh and on a really cool note I got to meet Shasta Medic, You folks should try and meet up with this cat, He is a laidback as they get, and for being a "rookie" he sure as hell just showed Operations he can get the job done. I only know because I was on the other end of what he Did.
BTW Shasta Awesome job Broham, You got er done and with no issue's you keep that up, You are on stand up Guy and I am glad I got the chance to meet you finally. You have the number you ever need anything give me a ring. -
The KW"s have a pwer cut off switch bvy the drivers seat, a red handle which will cut power to the cab for when you sit. The Pete's do not so you have to kill the power by the switch by the headboard or else it can kill the battery. The plug on the side of the cab even I knew what it was for,I guess the person who made that statement about charging the system never drove up north. For the first time Igot home on time. and I also met Shasta-medic Does anyone know who the new dm for fleet 8 is????
-
Florida Redneck,
I am of the understanding that Billy is filling that seat now for fleet 8.Florida Girl Thanks this. -
Well Kenworth says the reason my batteries went dead is cause my inverter is drawing 10 amps................I know nothing about amps............is this BS?
-
No It is not, But drawing 10 Amps is extremely high considering you have nothing plugged in to it. Did they fix it?
And By the way your Truck alternator puts out 14-15 amps -
Yeah its fixed, just waiting on a ride up there now. It's 60 miles away!
-
Well I sent in a message via the Web site, and Dennis responded the next morning, Amazing. But he said he was going to Forward it to Darrin and Todd, uh I already went that route. Hell I give out their email address's and phone numbers to every driver who has a problem, seems that they do not either Read them, Listen to them or Their precious "freight" is more important.
-
Has any body else had a problem with their payroll??? Called twice and even sent 2 q.messages for a settlement and an aswer to my questions and still no answer. The comdata charges are unreal, and then they didnt reimburse any oil or anti freeze Wonder what is going on?

truck puts out 120 amps.....at 14 volts......drawing 10 amps is still high
