Well it was in the works for a year..it seems that the all powerful state of Maryland wants unhappy couples to be legally separated for a one year period...before you can even file for a divorce!!
So the newly should have read..finally divorced...lol
And trucking had nothing to do with it. I just figured I don't have anything holding me in one place anymore...and they would give me a really swell rolling apartment to live in!!!

Easy question answered with an complicated, contemplative question. Would you like it surgar coated or right between the eyes?

Don't get me wrong, I wasn't happy about it. I was told in CDL school to never turn down a load. Not to mention, it was 45 thousand pounds of water, out of Maine. After dropping, and getting out of Brooklyn, I sent my dispatch a (polite) message asking to not send me back for a few weeks. I need to get a little more experience before going back. The driving part wasn't bad. It was knowing that if you make one wrong turn that you're screwed. I'm from the south where the roads are fairly simple to navigate, and straight forward. In NY, nothing is straight forward. Unfortunately, my company does a lot of Northeast drops so I'm gonna have to manage.

The good thing about my dispatcher is that if she gives you a short haul, or NYC load, she'll make it up to you by giving you a 1,000+ trip. After dropping, I was sent to upstate NY to get loaded, then down to Mobile to drop. Now I'm in Mobile, and going to finish my second week with 3200 miles. :biggrin_25525:
