Don't forget to pack extra flyers and brochures that you can leave at truckstops and the terminals. I mean some religious organizations leave their religious pamphlets lying around so if they can solicit, why can't you, right?

Long as he's not soliciting for NAMBLA, he can pretty much do as he pleases.

I don't know if this is the right thread of not, but do any of you know a company will will make one little tiny exception in the pet rider policy?

Sorry. It is what it is.....

Mebbe he was asking because deep down inside, despite all the homophobic rhetoric, he might meet his soul-mate and they could go big truck truckin' together.

Why do the gay folks broadcast on the CB and listen to 98% abuse? Because that 2% return is worth it.

    :biggrin_25512:

Next time, just bring 'em out for ice cream, okay ??

Shakey, I love yer' posts. Always do. And I really have nothing of value to contribute to the thread, except a couple of light-hearted attempts at a giggle or 2.

And like a moth to a light, in my own narrow minded heterosexual way, I just had to read everything written. I got more out of the varied reactions to it than trying to figure out the OP's intent. Entertainment at it's finest.

Homo-phobia: same-fear or, irrational fear of something that is the same.

In actuality, people who disagree with alternate lifestyles, while some may actually fear them, do not "fear" what is the same. Rather, they "fear" (or hate) that which is different from themselves. Would that not make them heterophobic?

What's my point? The word "homophobic" is equally inflamatory as any of a miriad of derogatory terms for people who engage in alternate lifestyles. It is no less a nasty label as the term "breeder," which has been used to describe those who are attracted to members of the opposite gender.

The term "homophobic" is just as ridiculous as a word that means "cigarette" in England or "a bundle of twigs" according to Miriam Webster. You seem to have a good grasp of the English language and are well versed. Surely you can come up with something more intellegent than that.

Homosexuality is adultery, so is cheating on your wife, or lapping your girlfriends coo coo! It is considered wrong or a sin because it causes those involved lots of serious problems, besides incurable diseases. This effects our society as a whole, or those who are not involved... an infringement on our liberties. If you need details check the medical statistics and health care costs and divorce rates and HIV Aids stats. They add up. If your gay, homo or bi I cannot support you or agree with you, and I am not sorry. I hope and pray that everyone will see the wisdom here. God bless everyone, Grey Ghost

    I second that!
We have a wonderful thing in this country called freedom of religion, which means if I choose to deny the rules of your God and lap my girlfriend's coo coo, then I can do so. I don't need your support or approval, all I need is for you and yours to stop trying to put your religion into everybody's laws. If you believe it is wrong, then don't do it. Simple as that.

PS: HIV/ AIDS is not a gay mans disease. Many many heteros get it, too. So find another excuse. That one doesn't hold water.

Come on, AT, ignorance is all over the place around here. Not much we can do about it. Goes back to that free country thing. Because we live here, I can be Bi, and he can be ignorant.

There's good and bad to every law....

i dont care that he's ignorant, i care that he had the balls to come on here and preach his ignorance. All he does is show how little he knows about the religion he claims to live by.

Someone get him some BBQ sauce he'll need it someday :biggrin_2559:
