Millis training starting Nov.7,11 in Richfield

Day three raining again, in classroom for a bit then back out bobtailing around the 500 again till bout lunchtime, then back to the classroom for covered backing / coupling via PowerPoint/ videos and in the books. Should start straight backing and hopefully coupling tomorrow. Hope everyone is doing good and be safe out there

 

It was good. Thanks . Backing got interesting, but overall learned a lot . Think week two will be very interesting

 

Day 4 was more straight line backing and then sight side, and the pulling out of one dock and backing into the next one over. Guess they tend to maybe want you to move over a dock once in a while.

 

Day 5 couple things in the book same quick video then out to the yard to practice backing, but this time blind side, and sight side till bout lunch then Chris threw in the serpentine backing as well that is an interesting maneuver to say the least. Small amount of homework for the weekend lol but hey that should keep me from getting too bored lol stay safe and have a good week everyone

 

Day 6 Started out in the classroom for just a little while and then rest of the day in the yard, did my first actual attempt at a pre-trip and was stumbling all over myself. But I guess not really that bad for someone who has never physically done one but really made me realize I'm going to have to study it like crazy.. lol... The rest of the day was backing maneuvers to which I wasn't really happy with myself. Just couldn't seem to get it. Thought I was looking at what I was supposed to be in the mirrors and turning when I was supposed to and things just DIDN'T seem to WORK for me arggggg frustrating.
