Was wondering if anyone knows any information about the FedEx route programs for the line haul. I am reaserching and have not found much other then the generic information on their web site. I have an appointment setup to speak with a rep from FedEx but I like to hear true knowleadge and all sides to evey venture. Also setting up an appointment with SCORE the organization that helps people to create and develop small businesses.
Any information or guidence is much appreciated.
Thank you,
Brian

It is quite simple, you have to drive fast, stay in the left lane, no matter who you hold up, and most imporant is knowing how to turn a set of pups over and block the road.
BigBadBill, Treefork, SHC and 3 others Thank this. -
That's FedEx Freight. FedEx Ground drivers are a smidge better.
highspeed, sending you a pm. Then I'm going to bed. -
Well, between Chicago and Dallas, he is describing just about EVERY ground truck I have come across..... driving fast, in the left lane, and not speaking any english with them #### flying chickens stuck to the sides of their cabs (or a flag that says "croatia")
Mommas_money_maker Thanks this. -
I didn't say English was required.
I am glad their pilots are better than their drivers. -
Wow, serious animosity towards FedEx here. I would much rather share the road with FedEx and UPS than all the port container haulers here in Los Angeles. Those guys, and the dump trucks working all the freeway construction at night right now, are the worst.
Expect tight schedules at any FedEx company. -
They are on a schedule. Most east coast destinations require a team. Northwest also team operation. In talking with the contractors, FedEx require insane insurance, drivers must be approved by FedEx and your tractor must be white.
If you can find the local terminal, i know an employee can direct you to a contractor. -
LMFAO........

Ya gotta have a nice tan and wear flip flops and a jogging suit around the truck stops.
