I'm in Marshfield and I saw 4 shiny new red Internationals pull into the yard at the same time. They also have some of the new grey Prostar midroofs for the flatbed fleet ready to go next door at Mid-State.

Haha Dale just took us through the wash bay yesterday after mudding in the range all week. I was driving and that was the coolest thing I've seen since I got up here xD

Don't worry about the supposed "wait." Once I finished my phase and tested out I was told my truck was in Marshfield. Hey, I was in Marshfield. Didn't tell me that some newbie was washing out in that truck and it needed to be detailed. Ok, no problem. Sat in Drivers lounge and watched them pull it in. Good we are rolling...
Hey what's that shiny spot I see on shop floor?
Oh, just the radiator leaking. So walk down and talk the guys, have a long PAGE of things wrong with it and should be ready in a few hours.
Let's just say a few hours turned out to be the next day. New radiator and a few other fixes and I got my truck with load home... after I stocked my flatbed gear.

I tested out in Ellenwood...they gave me the keys and said sorry about your luck....it was a bad bad sign...it was an old IH 9400 the mechs felt sorry for me...it had issues and took a couple hours to get fixed up...but I only had that truck for I think 1 or 2 weeks...
my current one I picked up in a truckstop in Paulsboro NJ...it was in ok shape..no mechanical defects just some minor cosmetic issues interior was ok...could have been a lot worse... -
i do know that freightliner is behind on production ffe is having the same problem to the point they wont hire any experienced drivers

Sure Roehls in the process of getting new trucks just not new engines. I live in the appleton,wi area and get parts from Freightliner in Kaukauna, wi Roehl has several gliderkits(at least 20 I seen on the list) there being put together so yes it may take awhile to get a truck
So if your truck is to be sold it could come back to you the same underpowered, slow moving peice of ###t it was but smell prettier.

I am definately going to have to get this one in for service...my MPGS are not improving at all
they are starting to get worse and worse...and now she is starting to use a gallon of oil every other week....and she has lost some tugging power too...I have changed the fuel filter...blown out the air filter...I don't know whats going on with her....Its time for them to take a look at her...I am going to request getting routed to Marshfield for Thanksgiving I guess...

Is she blowing black smoke? The loss of power and oil consumption sound like it could be rings. Someone may know more since I'm not a mechanic. I would say it could also be a turbo issue which can be a real mess. I saw a guy trying to fix his and he had oil everywhere he shouldn't have.
-
no shes not blowing smoke that I can see...shes just started being weak and drinking oil, fuel, (in the last 2 weeks too)and occasionally water (not much maybe half gallon a month).... the nice thing is my FM knows I don't want maintence in gary or ellenwood unless I end up there on the hook...
The bad part was I started off the month with awesome fuel milage average (even by the qualcomm)....then boom..down the drain it goes...grrr..Last edited: Nov 20, 2011

Have you called maintenance? That truck is seriously sick and could leave you sitting on the side of the road. I know it's a pain and I agree I wouldn't want to go to Ellenwood or Gary, but I'm betting you're going to end up in another truck regardless. A turbo might have you sitting for a day, but rings would probably put you in another truck.
