Rugerfan, sorry things didn't quite work out with Central. I've kinda been watching your thread hoping it would work for you cause I've been thinking about going to Central myself but managed to get on with a local O/O. I sent you a PM with some info that might help in your current situation. :smt023

central is a good company i jsut dont know it if it totally for me. I dont care for dealing with the shippers and receivers all the time cause they are rude and dont care that you have been up for 20 hours or the fact that its 2:30 AM and youve been through 2 time zones to get there. but i would recomend anyone to go see if trucking is for them through central

Yeah its very rare someone with little experience gets a good local deal. Been trying that myself but no luck, why i am going back OTR for a while, get some miles and then apply for a local company. But congrats on the being at the right place right time brotha!

Just a suggestion, but you might have a better shot if you show up in person instead of through the computer. It will show them that you are really serious.

Not sure of the area where you live, If there are a lot of container and rail yards try applying for companys that do that type of work, They are more likely to hire a newbie than an ltl type company
