Well... Lol I'm at my 90.... 8 1/2 hours early lol on their property, in the way lol.
-
There was a time were i went 114 miles and took me all day too do it, course it was a major blizzard and roads were iced over and top speed was 34mph
-
If there is a blizzard in Bama, then it better be icecream... If the weather man even hints at snow, the state shuts down. lol
Well I made it in... over 8 hours early lol. Sent my unloaded call, within 2 minutes I had another load. Im the coil king apparently... Past three loads Ive picked up from a shipper have been coils. I pick this load up tommorow. Taking it up to Colorado, not excited about goin to Co. Especially right now. Checked the weather though, and its supposed to be decent weather so... Might not be too bad. These coils are aluminum, so they require a live dispatch and special attention. You cant use bungy cords on the tarps, because they will damage the coils. The live dispatch is to tell me all the stuff I cant use on the coils... Yay. First time Ive hauled these type. I have a 3 day window to get it there lol Now thats a window lol. Im try to be there by Tuesday so I can turn it in on this check.Last edited: Nov 18, 2011

O ya! Lol gets me unloaded quicker lol
Well picked my coils. Two aluminum coils loaded eye to the sky. Together they weigh over 48,000 pounds. Had to throw three straps n tarps um, in very strong winds. Took me almost three hours to finish, but its done (so am I for the night). Just backed into the last spot at the loves. The hardest back I've ever done for a spot: dark, raining, between two trucks, truck parked in front of me where he didn't belong, o ya n it was blindside. Got it in though. Took God knows how many get out n looks, and pull ups, but I got it in without hitting anything. Had literally inches to spare getting into this spot. I'm keeping it for the night lol -
so your saying , your keeping for the night, okay truck one leaves too the right, next back in is a reffer , old school reefer , driver about 80 , likes his opean reefer chrome 6 inch stakes , runs on contual, then the next driver leaves too the left of you and he calls his trucker freind backs in , now you have 2 old school reefers run full opean, no exhaust baffel's, running all night, these old guys cant hear no more cause they played heavy metal in there 20's and blowed out there eardrums anyway, so they dont care if it loud or not, o -ya now your gonna get alot sleep,
just saying

I had a load of 1 coil. 3/4" thick steel, I was 13' to the top, #55000. Big pain in the arss. Had to get over weight permits all the way. I don't remember how many chains I put on it but it was all I had.
