They tell EVERYONE not to call the customer but if you are professional enough to do so. . . . do it. Unless the w/a specifically says, "DO NOT CALL CUSTOMER", then why not? If they really dont want us to call the customer, why give us the phone number? Just remember you put a face to the name of the company and in some cases are our customers only face to face contact. Although its said, "Never judge a book by its cover.", most people do. Its all in the approach,

One great thing about this job is getting to see Friends and family as you travel around the country. I'm sitting here in Fort Collins, CO having lunch with my nephew who lives and works here. Also helps that he works at the best sandwich shop in old town. (can you say discount!). I've also had the opportunity to visit my sister, had dinner with my father in another state, don't know who I'll drop in on next.
500 more miles tomorrow to Billings, MT. I hope I can get in ahead of the weather.JimTheHut Thanks this. -
Glad to see you're having fun out there. Seeing family members for me is ending up at the same truck stop. We had a family reunion at the TA. Could not stay long I was heading south and they were heading north.

Ya you never have much time for anything while under load. I was truly blessed that Fort Collins was just over half way on my route and zero out of route miles!

I know what you mean. Heck the whole tribe is at home this weekend. I'm leaving out Sunday. My son don't need to leave till Monday. My other boy just finish school so who knows when he'll leave. LOL

Good news!
