Western also offered more variety of the times of their classes. My boyfriend was out of a job so it didn't matter, he wanted the day classes. The thought of the four day weeks was enticing, but I pointed out to him that he hadn't been in a classroom in over 30 years, so the long days required of the 4 day weeks might be a lot for him.
I'm seeing a trend here...

How long ago was it he attended W P. Now the classes are 7 weeks, first week is in the class room. Weeks 2 thru 7 are field training and there four hour days. And the total price is $4,774.00

He went in April. 5 days a week, 8 hours a day. They also offered night classes, but not as frequently. New classes started up every two or three weeks. Week one was classroom, the next three weeks were field training. A total of four guys in his class. Two young guys, two old guys. I'd have to find the paperwork, but it was somewhere in the range of $4000 for them and $5000 for Western.

Western Pacific was more than I remembered, it was 4595 and Western was 4995. I can't find that phone number anywhere for that person in DMV. We were working with Chaz from Western and he was one of the people to give us the phone number. See if you can get it from them tomorrow. It was really easy, and if yours are that old it should be even easier.

I just wanted to put in a good comment for CRST.
Firstly, there is the bad that you will find with most all training companies. A lot of the trainers just suck(I had 2, in the 2 weeks I was with them).
Now, let me say, my stint as a truck driver only lasted two weeks, it was not because of CRST, but my inability to be away from the woman I love during our "New Relationship" phase.
Besides the trainers, the company seems to be pretty decent. They get you the miles, and you usually wont sit. Its a lot of air freight and drop and hook.
As far as the team thing goes, find somebody to team with you. Or else you may end up hating your life.
