It's not "on a truck and available for dispatch" it's just "available for dispatch". So if you're at the motel and ready to roll, you should be getting the guarantee. However, if for some reason you've turned down a trainer, or are at the motel of your own volition, there wouldn't be guarantee pay.

I have a quick question please, I was just notified by my recruiter that I have been accepted and put on the waiting list for the school. Im a female and apparently there arent alot of women trainers so I have to be waitlisted which is cool gives me time to prepare. Im super excited I was signed up supposedly to go thru drivers solution but at the last minute they said that usa wasnt hiring in my area so I checked out prime and have had my fingers crossed ever since. I have one question that I didnt feel that my recruiter really answered for me once you have your training and cdl and all of that done do you have to lease a truck? It is my understanding that you do and I was wondering if you guys could fill me in on that please. The thought of owning a truck is awsome but im not in the financial standings to do so at this moment. I wanted to get a few years in before I made a invesment like that when I asked my recruiter she told me that it is more like renting your truck and kinda gave me a spiel about it Im super excited but if you have to lease your truck then unfortunatly I wont be able to attend. Can someone please take a moment and let me know what is up? Oh and happy thanksgiving everyone.

No you do not have to lease a truck, the decision is yours if you want to or not.cholosgirl Thanks this.
