Listen to Maxxlights... If u want to work here in Williston Nd u have to be up here. My company gets 100 calls a day from dreamers who say they will move up here after a job... Bring lots of resumes copy of dot card and licence and DMV driving history's and u will get hired... But beware alot of employers want u to have normal housing up here before they sign u on... That means living out of ur car is not housing.... The jobs are here the manpower isn't..
gdyupgal Thanks this. -
I'd like to find out more about that inside RV parking. Or any RV facilitys that are set up for winter water/elec full time. I'm about two weeks from showing up in the patch looking for work in my winch truck with 5th wheel in tow. I'm not going home until the paychecks are flowing steadily.

anyone tell me about hauling frac sand. Do they get loaded and unloaded as fast as say water. or do they have more waiting time? tell me how it works.
-
How often are you throwing chains this season?
-
Way more waiting time with sand.
I guess I shouldn't say way more. There are many different types of water to be hauled. Fresh, production, flowback. Production and flowback can have long disposal wait times but fresh water generally moves fast. Except for waiting at water depots...Last edited: Nov 25, 2011

You better do some more research. Williston has no rv spots left. You might find one within 45 miles of Williston. I only know of one trying to keep their water and sewer on for the winter. Fox Run RV park north of Williston 5 miles or so. It's brand new and has around 250 spots. $1000 per month rent. Too bad it's FULL.
People were set up living in the Walmart parking lot. They shut that down now after 30 campers showed up overnight. -
Perhaps some of these companies need to get busy and build some housing if they want help so bad. Its not realistic to expect people to come up for a job when there is nowhere to live, then not hire them because they have nowhere to live. This is ridiculas.

Maybe you should do some research. 10,000 people living in mancamps in Williams county. The county put a moratorium on mancamps to get more family type housing built and because the infrastructure isn't there to put all these remote camps in all over the place. Do you really think no one is trying to put housing here? Come on.gdyupgal Thanks this.
