I thought may be i would start this new thread and may be it would help me and others be able to ask for directions or give directions in hopes that it might make our lives a little easier on the road. Also just might help from taking that wrong turn. I call this thread play it foreward. So i guess i will be the first to ask,

I will be on I-9O W HEADING TO SEATTLE i am suppose to get on I-5 south but looking at the map it shows alot of other roads that appears to me i need to take, any ides:biggrin_25510:

Take exit 2B, on the exit look for the sign "Tacoma/Portland" that will take you south on I-5

I'm not with May but am in Washington a lot (home terminal is there). I'd take Hwy 18 (North Bend, Auburn exit) off of I-90 to I-5...avoid all the traffic and mess going through Seattle.

While Axe is right, 18 is the best way to avoid the Seattle traffic make sure you don't get to far off of the routing that they give you. If you get to far off they will notice and say something. Do your directions request for where you are headed in Seattle. It might tell you to get off of 90 before you get to 5. If not, I would suggest to stay in the good graces of the May Gods that you go 90 all the way so that they don't try and gig a newer driver. Just my two cents.

Hey 18 is a good route if you ares headed into southern seattle area. That route will also take you right by our drop yard in auburn. Shared with a utility trailer facility.

Keep in mind...if you break down, or God forbid, have an accident, OFF ROUTE, good luck in explaining that one...
    STAY ON YOUR ASSIGNED ROUTING!!!

it doesn't matter, if your ASSIGNED ROUTING doesn't say:
    I90W
    I5S

Let's say it's snowing heavily...you get stuck in a ditch (tow bill is AT LEAST $400 for that)
When you call breakdown, and tell them where you are, they will get the tow truck out there, they will load the $400 to your card, but you will NOT get a PO. You will instead get instructions to call Boyd. When you do, he will ask you why you were NOT on your ASSIGNED ROUTE, and then inform you that YOU are now responsible for the $400+ tow bill.
FOLLOW YOUR ROUTING (can I be any more clear?)
