Attention JBS Drivers, If any of you didnt get your 3rd quarter safety bonus because The Safety dept. says you violated the HOS too many times you need to read this:
I thought i had only violated HOS 2 times for the 3rd quarter and for just a few minutes each time. When i didnt get my safety bonus i called the safety dept in greeley. They told me that on July 29th and 30th that i violated 4 hrs and 5 hrs on those days. It turns out those were the days that qualcom was screwing up and we were told to write paper logs for a week. I found out from Crystal in Green Bay that some other drivers in green bay and a plainwell driver are having the same problem. She was told by Randy K in Greeley that the drivers are lying. I'm delivering in Denver and then heading up to Greeley to talk to safety about this. You would think that jbs safety would be proactive on this and that any violations that were on those days would be thrown out and bonuses paid..... I have proof that i didnt violate based on the log of cities where the qualcom pings your location. I will let everyone know the outcome of this. Thanks and if you didnt get your bonus you might want to see if this is the problem.

I think you riding with your husband will probably be a good thing for him and JBS, it will keep him focused on the job at hand and not so much on getting home. My wife and I have always wanted to do this, but life happens as they say and we both have our own careers. Have fun and enjoy the ride.
Florida Girl Thanks this. -
Florida Girl, The bonus was for the 3rd quarter which was July- September. I don't know exactly when it was paid out but i think it was around the end of October. I did talk to Randy K. in greeley and he couldnt have been nicer about it. I'm getting my bonus. Good time of the year for extra money!

Being a passenger in winter time is no fun. Unless you like scary movies. But hope all things work out for you guys.
Can somebody explain to me how you send somebody a PP that doesn't have no appt time for shipper or reciever. Then when you call the shipper he is like. That load hasn't even been scheduled. Then you send a message, and they have to get in a huddle and have a meeting on when they can set up a darn pick up time.
I already saved their butt. When my load going home didn't have an appt time, and I drove personal vehicle over to company to see if they had the load on the schedule. Yep it deliver's at 515 am. How can they cry about on time deliveries when half the loads don't even have an apt. Oh well another day @ the office. Hope the load cancels and I can pick up palletsAnyway have a great night folks, Peace and 5th wheel Grease

I have a couple questions I hope some of the JBS drivers could answer for me. I am talking to a recruiter and as soon as I get the money and paper work lined up will be starting school in Dec.
My question is does JBS have any kind of dress code or anything like that. My hair is a little long but always under control I have had it for a long time and would like to be prepared to cut it I have to.
Question #2 how are the trainers there? I want this job to work for me and would hate to have it go bad because of a bad trainer. I have heard to many horror stories.
Thanks in advance!!
