That's funny...
especially If your reference is about me. The next time you're making dough you should consider using less dill.
I paid my way to Prime and back home. I paid for my hotel room rather than disturb some driver with my loud and antiquated CPAP machine and I paid for my my own food. I would think the cost to train 82 people rather than 81 is the same. I did screw Prime out of a meal for a guy that had not eaten in three days while riding the bus. psst...don't tell anybody but I used my meal card to get him an extra meal. He came to Prime with exactly $150.00 to pay the upfront cost and for the permit test. He had no other money. Yes, Sir. I taught Prime a lesson they will soon not forget.Last edited: Dec 1, 2011

That's easy for you to say. You are just like a lot of peeps that big company's have all kinds of money to waste on dropouts. As an extrucking company owner I stay with what I said. If they had all kinds of money to through away the wouldn't charge you for training.

So how's ex-company ownership working out for you?

The best thing that could have happened in a economy these days.

Well, there's a problem with that. A thread like that will immediately attract so much controversy as to be useless because of all the folks who are absolutely convinced that you can't make any money leasing, its a scam, you're an idiot for trying, etc.
The problem is that there are a lot of folks who have tried to lease, and don't understand what it takes and how to go about it. They go bust, and many loose everything they have in the process. Shortly thereafter, they blame it all on the carrier - and get a lot of support from naysayers, who of course, pile-on. Then there are the folks who just plain hate the carrier you are talking about, who pile-on as well. Injun over on the Swift side (an ex-Prime leasee) tried that, and it got into a verbal food fight over leasing so fast that she had to shut down the thread within a couple of weeks. She moved it to a blog that she could approve folks posting to before they were allowed to post.
So while I agree that it would be a worthwhile venure, I caution anyone interested in starting such a thread that it will be "interesting" to say the least in terms of how it diverges from where you want it to go. And you'll probably collect some infractions and "bad boy points" along the way... -
It's too bad the naysayers can't just accept the fact that not everyone believes the way they believe or will do the same as they will do. The rest of us lose so much in the process.

All I can say is thanks for your valuable, insightful post. I, for one, sure have had my eyes opened!

Uh huh. Right.

Giving the wealth of information you have on Prime's leasing, I'm guessing this is why you never made your own thread?

Nah. My guess is he just got tired of hearing people say, "IP? Yeah, me, too, but I try not to brag too much about it."
