    which one is better c15 or 3406 looking to buy a used truck with around 700 miles on it.thanks

    They can both be good motors. Single turbo C15 is probably considered better because of updated seals and electronic but both will get the job done

    Both good motors, we have 2 3406e right now, both good trucks.

    either engine is a good choice. The C-15 has better electronics to work with the ABS brakes, AutoShift transmissions, and PTO controls. The other advantage to the C-15 is it does have a better sealing system for the oil pan, front structure cover and flywheel housing to eliminate the oil leaks that plagues the earlier 3406E engines after awhile.
