Considering that was the term used by the DOT/Trooper (Florida combined them into the same department now), that's what I'm sticking with.

Florida is using that one if they don't feel like doing a Level 1.

So are you a trooper dieselbear? or are your duties DOT truck specific? To tell you the the truth, I like most troopers I encounter.
I dont believe the bridge laws are that complicated, genericlly speaking, if you are under 80000 and 34/34/12 or less and 40-41 ft. on tandems thats about as ideal as you can get for any state. Always run your tandems as far forward as possible, or at the 40 ft. mark if possible. Simple really, for 80,000 lb gross trucks.
