I have been on "weather shutdown" for over 24 hours in Hooker, OK. Weather is fine and so are the roads until at least Tumumcari. Geez, that would get me a little farther down the road.

 

Ouch. But that's not going to help the other driver's career development.

 

Won't look good on either drivers record !!!!

 

I have never been asked what the top pay is by another driver. I have been asked what i thought of stevens and i give my honest opinion. Anyone who just wants to know the top pay can go to the stevens web page and get the answer in less time than It took him to come here sign up and ask the question.

Well now I find out 10 is closed from El Paso into Arizona.
Sounds like now is as good a time as any to be going into the yard.

Would you happen to know if they stop training because of the weather at this time of year? Trying to get in atm. Wondering how long i may have to wait. Ive been following you guys for a few days now, going Tanker w/hazmat, but with the need for training maybe i should do reefer or dryvan, you guys seem to have all the fun. lol, Hate to be the guy that tore your bumper off. Training goes on year round. Wait time depends on your background, and when you are willing to start training. Do you have a CDL or do you need to go to School first? That will also affect your time.

 

Last day of school was tuesday, tested on friday, fingerprinted yesterday, filling out papers for passport and twic this morning, after opting into a resume writing class at the college. Keep hearing my english teacher laughing her ##### off at me after 28 yrs. from her grave. Only prob im expecting is explaining the last 15 months of unemployment and 12 months of unemployment payments. Got to pay bills for the 60 - 90 days waiting for hazmat to clear. Chasing all those ducks and lining them up is Haaaard
