Stevens Transport aviary

Got onto the yard. My clearance sheet looks like something akin to the Sears Catalog!
Two pages!
Apparently every accident my students have is tagged to me.
Nothing serious. Broken mirror here, scraped paint there...but I have NINE accidents on my clearance sheet.
Showed it to Harold and he just laughed.
"You're never getting off the Fleet (50) Admiral!"
We'll get it all cleared up tomorrow, but man is it cold tonight!
I was going to volunteer to help on the hill, but forget that crap!

Oh hell no I won't let them. I don't dabble in the realm of "what if's" as hind sight is always 20/20. I really wasn't at the end of the aisle since another truck was parked next to me, but left before the accident (which put me at the end.) I was also well within the confines of my parking spot. I didn't have my lights on, but the parking lot is very well lit. Basically there is no excuse for what the CRST driver did...except complacency. Everybody that I talked to at Stevens has said that it totally wasn't my fault.

I know that it will be counted as a non preventable, but that won't adversely affect me in the future I would hope.

The truck was a 2011, so it was new enough. I also took really good care of it. They are talking about me recovering a truck now (a 2010 T2000.) I don't think so.

What it boils down to is that I'm not the best casino buddy right now.

Well.... Yes and no... After 3 days of trying to get someone on the phone, I was finally told that the reimbursment for the $300 lumper fee was put on hold. I asked why and was told "I dont know". Was told that she was releasing it right then and I would see it on next check. Wasnt there but im giving benefit of doubt that the check was processed before they could add the $300 to it.

Short answer, yes they found the problem but no I havent seen the money yet.

 

OK... DM threatened that if I was late on this run that he would put a service failure on my record. Kinda pissed me off with his little threat!

I should be there early with no problem, but after thinking about this and staying mad all day, what is the repercussion of a service failure?

Guess that me and my ol DM might just have a face to face next time Im on the yard!

 

Just left Target in IA the other day. Got there an hour early and was driving away 2 hours later. Are they normally this quick?

 

Ahhh OK, yea I had that happen once way back when I was on grad fleet. Luckily hasnt happened since.
