texas drivers in and around new caney area, dont go to work for wyatt trucking. the owner has his wife doing the hiring and all. they work right out of their home and only do broker loads. you dont know what the actual line haul pays is and you get 25 % of the line haul pay. last week she paid me and the check bounced. she did make good on the check though. they do not take care of the truck and it is a 96 freightliner and it is filthy dirty and stinks inside. the fuel gauge does not work and they refuse to fix it. they only let you put in 300 dollars fuel at a time and there was one time that i ran out. they hired me to do local and when the local loads ran out, they wanted me to go out further every week. i got held over in perryton tx where there are no loads and she told me to go to dallas and she would look for something on saturday which she did not do. she got mad at me monday and told me to just bring the truck to new caney and park it. she still owes me for two loads and she says she will not pay me. they also offer you no place to park your personal vehical while you are away so you have to worry about it being towed or vandalized. stay away from wyatt trucking. it is no good.

I think seeing a '96 Shakey that's filthy and stinks would be a warning going in. Anyways, thanks for the heads up.

Hey I went to work driving a 98 International that was filthy inside and out. I cleaned it up and went to work. I bring home 800 to 1100 a week and sleep in my bed every night. The point is dont judge a job by how fancy the rig is. The truck I drive is nothing near fancy. It is mechanically sound and dependable though.

Yeah, but if anyone has ANY common sense, they can look under the hood and the mechs. and know its been taken care of, and yeah.....wipes and some windex can fix the left over crap from the last lazy driver for sure! I have a friend that runs a 96 pete and a 87 western star, they are day cabs but I would yank them to CA right now. I've made the same mistake yreas ago, but now I'm fully aware on what makes a truck a truck!!!!!

You know how some guys are! They'll hop in and go trucking but when the obvious goes wrong, they want no blame on themselves, its always the other guy! been there, done that and learn my lesson!!!!!

All I've ever asked for is a legal truck, heat, ac, and to get paid what is owed to me! If you tell me your paying me .30cpm, pay that to me, if you told me .45cpm, pay me. LOL. Why do people makes things harder for themselves and anyone they deal with? I have never understood the point of jerking someone around when you know what the end result will be.

I've been there and done that a couple times. I've made bad job decisions based on that pretty looking rig, but turned out it was a rusted turd. Luckily its never effected my dac or 2010 score, but much wiser to things like this now days!

With all the tech. that we have now there is no reason someone should take a job and not know anything about the company!!!!! You can only blame someone else for so long........But you know it goes, you generally only get 1/4 from 1/2 of a story!!!

The last job I was at ran all Petes. I was in a 2008 model. I quit the day my 2012 model 389 came in to go drive a 98 model daycab International. Yeah it would've been nice to ride in a brand new Pete but all the BS that came with it wasn't so nice. I get in that 13 year old truck every morning. I go do my 11 or 12 hrs then I park it and go home. Thats one helluva feeling.

One post and you split. Why did you work for these people if you walked out to the truck and it was filthy dirty and stinked? If it was so bad why didn't just leave? I have had trucks in the past where the fuel gauge didn't work so I used a ruler and also knew how many miles I could run before I needed to stop and get some. $300 for fuel well you were running local that should be enough. They run out of local work and you had to run out further, well companies operations do change. No parking for your personal vehicle, who parks in the spot when the truck is gone? Couldn't you park where the big truck was parked at? Good luck on your next adventure.

Exactly Chalupa!!! The bill collectors and my kids don't give a #### how pretty the truck I drive is. All they care about is that the bills get paid and there's food on the table.
