So I log in to the Swift website to see if next weeks paycheck was posted yet.
    Nope.

But, there was a statement dated 12/09/11.

??? We don't get paid on the 9th.

I just got $400 vacation pay, just in time for next weeks home time in Denver with my girls. Now I can afford to get them some nice Christmas presents and take them to the aquarium.

I didn't realize Swift worked it that way, but it sure is a nice surprise.

Plus, I have now been with Swift for 1 year. :bom:

Yep, comes in handy this time of the year. Mine will come next month, just in time to pay the bills!

    Congrats!

Now if only we could take the days off too.....

    Speaking of vaction pay/time...

Is it 5 days and how can one take those days off?

Take all 5 at once, clean out the truck - d'oh!

How about 1 or 2 days at a time here and there
    until they are used up?
Or is it 'all or nothing' ?

'Vacation time' is just another way of saying home time.

Either way, no miles are being run.
Either way, the same rules apply.

I think since he bragged about it, he should share it with everybody. Better yet, just post your home address and we'll all show up for the par-TAY!! :biggrin_25522:
