Pretty true what was said above, waiting for loads is not so bad, waiting for repairs you better off swapping into another truck or get used to the scenario where its broke down at. I would say what communication instead of slow and agravating. Best advice don't even bother calling in just wait for them to contact you and they will be prompt than with you.
One thing i can say is for me and not other drivers is that you can get home when you request it, im not sure why other drivers dont get home on the day they request but i have you just have to not let them push you around.

I have been with pam transport since middle of august 2011... They are a better company then usa truck. I use to work for usa truck and didnt get as many miles with them as i am getting now. Pam transport average run for me is about 700-900 miles with usa truck my average run was like 300-500 miles. Pam transport actually fix their stuff right on the first time unlike usa truck. I have heard lot of bad stories about pam transport that drivers leave and go to usa truck. But i like pam transport better then usa. Good luck to all of the new drivers. Stay safe. May god bless all.
1catfish Thanks this. -
I work for USA Truck. Do not work for them. Your better off at PAM Transport... You get more miles at PAM....

I have been with PAM for nine months now and I say RUN. Don't do it. If you thought the waiting was long by the other drivers statements, its three times as long now. They are trimming staff constantly, changing dispatchers, you will be disrupted, changed, voided off loads and put back on five to eight hours late. The pay is some of the lowest in the business and everything is backwards, new people gettting brand new trucks and the people that have proven themselves driving junk. Go to Junior College, get your CDL there (more training and more driving) and then pick a decent starter company like Swift who at least pays good mileage, even though a lot of people rip on Swift they give you good first seat pay and decent health insurance. PAM cons outweigh the pro's. Good luck.
