Thanks for the feedbacks, how is the lodging during the classes? Can you be on your own or have to share a room? Then how does it work when you`re on the road with your trainer?
How about your pet, is your cat riding along with you now? I have a big dog, and I`m worry they won`t let me have him with me...
    All informations are welcome. :)

Lodging is free if you share a room. Or 25$/night if you get a single room.

When with an instructor. You sleep on the top bunk. In training you sleep in bottom bunk when he drives. Basically hot bunking.

He has his cat with him. Though prime does have a weight limit on pets. But not sure how serious they are on it. You also have to pay a deposit on pets. Basically in case the pet makes it a pain to clean your truck when you turn it in. Slightly off topic. If you go reefer. You will not be able to fit a big dog comfortably in a lightweight truck.

What Seebs said. The weight limit is 30 pounds I believe. Pet deposit is $300, but refundable if the pet gets off the truck

*dodged that bullet* JCW wanted something a tad bigger to go along with him. I talked him out of it. But still....

You gotta talk to JCW about that DTB... he doesn't need to pay a "pet deposit" for you to get on the truck with him!

*gigglesnort* He was talking about a wolf-cross. Those are illegal in some states.

Well got me a load of pipe hat I'm not overly thrilled with, but I'll make it. Load is almost as tall as my truck n overhangs on both the front and back of the trailer..... Front is barely over, but he back hangs over by almost three foot. Got two drops on this one, first goes directly to a jobsite somewhere. I have to call to get directions to it. Second should be easy, but probably won't be. Doesn't weigh much, only 24,000 n change. Being double stacked though poses some issues. It's 8" diameter plastic pipe, atleast most of it, of differing lengths. One good thing though is I get to stick mostly to the interstate the whole way there.

Heres a few pics of some of the recent loads Ive had. The first is conduit I picked up out of GA. Pretty easy load to secure, just straps. Second load was aluminum in cardboard boxes... Nowhere near even. That was a pita to tarp. Sales for some reason thought there was multiple drops on it... Got to my 02 with a full load... left with nothing. Sales screwed that one up big time. That dropped in CT. After that I strolled down to New Holland PA n picked up the third pic :biggrin_255: Fourth pic was taken at my 02. Was one of the coolest loads Ive gotten so far. Atleast it was machinery. A few cutting discs, a rake, n 2 side pull hay cutters. Was an interesting load I really enjoyed. Wastn thrilled about it hanging off the front of my trailer, or how high the tounges were on the hay cutters, but other than that it was a fun load.
