BigKid has a point, it is not hard to recruit drivers to come to work for ACT. They seem to be the fairest company that I have found when it comes to lease purchase. They set you up for success, it's up to you as the business operator to take the ideas and tools given and use them to succeed. I am a recruit of BK's and I am very glad that I spoke with him, I just hope that I have the same success as he has. Keep the posts coming BK, they helped me decide to come here, and I know of many others that have found these posts insiteful and helpful when trying to make a decision to which carrier to drive for.

I start with them on the 19th of this month I will post my numbers on here as well. And I will indicate with or without recruiting. That is with BK permission; don't want to hijack his post.

once again i have to agree with bk2's numbers,,i have made great money here since i came on a little over a month ago,,first check after orientation was 1300,then on 2600 miles i got 1118,then on thanks giving week i got just under 1400 miles (oh crap!) i expected to go go in the hole a few hundred,,,but the negative was,,,34.00,,,the following weeks pay,1041 on 2800 miles (watch out for overbuying fuel!) the next week 2933 pay was 2061,,(one recruiting bonus of 300 in there plus the extra .04 cents per mile for ninety days) my pay this ffriday is 1731 on 2831 miles( managed my fuel quite well this time ,,,ooohhhhrahhh!!,,,),, my overall fuel mpg is 7.8 and my cruise control % is 86.25%,average speed overall is 53mph,,,,,you are told to expect 2100-2300 mpw,,you will get more than that,,just communicate your available hours everyday to make sure that you are noticed!,,just as a little side note,,,,if you work out 2100 miles at only 6mpg, your net will be 600.00,so go slow and get that mpg up to seven or eight (all the trucks are speced to do it,and it ain't hard),and watch how much fuel you buy on friday through monday,,,,good luck to all posters/readers,,,quit waiting and get over here!,,even if you dont make a lot more than where you are at,,the way you are treated here will make your life so much less stressful. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!!!!!

I start Jan, 3 hope you guys are shooting strait.. I've ran the numbers with alot of variations and i can see that good fuel mileage is criticle I am confident I can controll that however I cant control load availability that will be the problem if the miles arent there..
