The New FFE Driver Academey

Awesome, sounds like a good deal. How long is the classes? Do they bus you out there or fly you?

 

Unfortunatly the bus ya. There are people that fly and get paid the cost of the bus ticket but I font know about it as I don't fly. Class starts at 7 am and go till4-5 pm

 

same here its not been all that bad I've learned somethings and its been great getting back out on the road again. I go to Upgrade tomorrow so I'll let everyone know first thing lol Sal will be road testing me.

You still go to the school. You start on Thursday rather than Monday. They want you to learn thier way. Then you go out with a trainer for 6 weeks.

 

Went to Lancaster yesterday, the "new" Volvos aren't new, although Ed still claims they are. There was a new International sitting there, the only other new trucks I saw were day cabs.

Got my CDL . Finished orientation today, waiting on a trainer now. Won't have wifi unless my trainer has it and wants to share, not sure when I'll post again. Everyone stay safe.

When are you starting the academy? Mike is still waiting too.

 

Called them a few weeks ago after you guys got started. They said they were not hiring out of Florida. So I started looking around at other companies. Finally filled out an App for FFE yesterday and a recruiter called me back within the hour, however I missed the call. I called back left a message and email. Will try again today..If I'm going to commit to this 110% it has to be soon as this is my slow season for business and a good time to get it done.

Hope you both get out of there within the next few days. Try and keep us updated as to how you're doing out there.
