Hey guys.
So, I've done some searching on the forum and have yet to find any threads pertaining to the Roadmaster school in Fontana, CA. I've seen a few posts here and there, but nothing detailed from anybody who's attended.
Anybody go to this school? Care to share your experience?
I'm considering this school, along with a few company programs (Swift, Werner, etc.). I'd like to go to Roadmaster though, simply because 1) I might be able to obtain financial aid from the state since I'm unemployed and 2) It's close to home and I can commute there, rather than be flown some place where I'd have to stay in a motel and what not.
But what matters most to me, obviously, is the quality of the school.

Hmm.. all that link seems to do is send me back to the main forums page.
I have searched, though, and unless I'm missing a thread or I'm not making full use of the search function's capabilities, I can't seem to find any personal accounts of the Roadmaster Fontana location.. which is what I'm really looking for here. -
Sorry about that. Try this:

Thanks for the link, kickin_chicken.
However, I actually wanted to see an entire thread dedicated to the Roadmaster Fontana. There don't seem to be any at the moment, whereas there are plenty of threads for the other campuses.
Either way I'm sure I'll find the information I'm looking for.kickin chicken Thanks this. -

I just graduated from roadmasters 2 weeks ago. I would highly recomend them. the instructors are extremely friendly and are VERY informative. The only issue I have with them is they kind of push you to work with Werner. So if you go, ask about ALL the companies they work with, they are on the werner yard so it makes sense, but there are better companies out there that they work with. Id still give them 9 outta 10 stars. -
Is Roadmaster an accredited school?
If not, you may want to find one that is. I was told by the folks at the state of Ohio that accreditation is the next requirement that is said to be coming down the pipe. Said to be a near future requirement and drivers will not be grandfathered.
I am not sure what the status of that rule is, the projected date of roll out, OR if it will ever be enforced. Maybe someone else on here has that info. -
