Maybe you could take your beef with him private? Sounds like a lot of anger here; I don't think airing it in public is appropriate.

My DLD was 0430 this morning. Turned up at 0415 (no call yet) but trailer was loaded.
"go hook up and come back to gate. hopefully paperwork will be ready."
And it was.
Then to scale.
Whoops! 340 pounds over on the tandems.
Back to reload.
0830, reload complete.
Back to scale.
This time, 20 pounds over.
Our first drop is 1257 miles away at 0100 monday.
Decide to move with it.
Can't afford the time for another reload.
Figure I'll run the 6th hole until Cali, then probably break the seal and move a couple boxes forward myself.
Normally wouldn't worry, but this is a 6 dropper and if we are late on the first, we'll never make the rest...and could mean I'll spend Christmas in a Flying J lot.
So here we go! -
Stuck in Limon, CO right now getting a level 2 done on this loaner truck. We're trying to figure out why I'm getting 4.9mpg's. On my truck, I average 7.3-7.4. The truck has a Cat engine, but my grad fleet truck did as well, and I was at a 6.5. If my mpg's don't improve, this whole loaner thing will be a futile effort as I'm buying so much fuel.

well my load home actually may work out... took until noon dallas time to finally get my pickup numbers and my appt times... first pick 0800 to 1800... was loaded at 1630... then over to mann packing where I am waiting for my 2100 appt, then over to taylor farms for my 2300 appt...
will see how that schedule works out... but hey I don't have to be to cheyenne until tuesday at 0930... so I have plenty of time for screw ups...
Last time I was slightly over on my trailer for california, I was told over the QC to roll, as cally allows 200 lbs over on the axle weights, so long as you are at 40' and under 80,000. I was already having the trailer reloaded once that message showed up.
sorry trkshoney, but I disagree with you. Stevens takes every incident seriously, except for deer, unless you hit 3 or more in a month... Former employee, I don't trust them, especially if they are hanging around the ambest.
I don't know why you are so upset, as flight has never said anything here, except for the struggles of getting home, and getting his truck fixed. He has never said he was innocent, or guilty... just upset with the way december is working out for him.DenaliDad and flightwatch Thank this. -
Can someone on here pm me about the Stevens school from start to finish ?

Three weeks worth of PM's. Wow. That should be fun.

Well the gremlins and turkeys strike. Manns computers keep crashing so it is 10 pm before i am in the door. Check with the loader, how many palletts? 22 he says. Not gonna fit something is wrong. Oh you have 5 orders for 5 different walmarts. Aww NnO. Back over to the window. They agree to only load cheyenne 4 pallets. Pull out at 10:45 around the block to the phone to check in with taylor. Get told by taylor my appt is for 1am not 11pm. QC says 2300. So take an hour cat nap and check in at 0045. Get a door back in and only 10 pallets. Takes only 30 minutes to load. Back over to the pilot where there are many parking spots.
Now after some sleep I am awake and ready to roll. -
If you wish to bicker at each other, take it to the PM system!
DenaliDad, flightwatch and Knew B. Wannabee Thank this.
