    If you did your orientation there, then I would assume thats where youll upgrade. So you would need a load goin close enough to there. If they have trucks there, then you shouldnt have a problem. I know they got a ton of cute trucks (lightweights) here.

    Thanks for the help I'm gonna call my fm after we drop this load in Florida I will then have 3000 miles to go.

    No problem. I would recommend running team over the winter with an experienced driver. I shouldve, but I just cant stand teaming anymore.

    And do the lightweight trucks have apu's ?

    Some do, some dont. IF they dont have one, they will put one on as soon as they get around to it.

    If I had a decent trainer I would run team but I can't wait to leave his truck.

    Ask your FM if he has any other drivers that might be willing to team with you over the winter time...

    Don't be in a hurry to get off your trainers truck. Theres so much to learn its rediculas.

    As far as winter youll be fine. Just take it very slow and be safe. If you don't feel comfortable stop. Don't be afraid to ask for help with anything. Winter is tough on everyone and other drivers will help you out.

    So if you get a lightweight with no apu you can idle to stay comfortable right? Will the shop set it up so it can idle?
