how often to you get home, and by looking at your runs not to many going thru pa. here in Pittsburgh just north of RT-70, would you happen to now if RT-70 is used more by FFE than RT-80, it would be nice if FFE would show on there web site which Routes are very high traffic lanes versus low traffic lanes, thanks

Honestly, the way it works is:
Run hard, dont hit anything, dont be a problem. keep your contact with the company to a minimum. Do that for a few months, and you will be put with a driver mgr that will run you. If hometime in PA is a big issue, then go Ltl out of burlington, and you will see the house a few times a week. -
no biggey, hauled reefer for 2 years back in the 90's for transam, hurry up loads all del. at night, just trying to get a feel for the length of haul and stuff, but millis transfer is still my pick come spring, they stay east of the big creek, all T-600 and T-700 kenworth fleet, work there back in 96 to 98, they haul beer, glass bottles, kegs and rolls of paper, and great home time, but no owner-ops that's why i was looking at FFE, was hoping to get a 1999 pete and sign on with the company i choose, maybe better yet millis will take owner-ops in 2013, but driver turn over is very low there, only 4 or 5 per class, thankssweetdaddy915 Thanks this.

3 days..Once you get thru to your recruiter for what basically is a phone interview. Give 'em 1-2 days to do background checks. Then call back in. If there are any problems they will let you know..

Looks like my younger brother Mike is on the road with his trainer..Ltl to Chicago, N.J. and New York..Talk about getting broke in..going to the N.E. in the winter and hitting the big cities..Being from So. Calif he has never seen that section of the country. Should be an invaluable learning experience. The trainers wife is also a recruiter at FFE from what he told me..

I had a question about FFE. I'm looking into going with either them, or Central (wanted Millis, what they said I'm out of their hiring area). I like some of the things from FFE, but also some with Central. Being that FFE is based out of Dallas and have two terminals around Dallas, and being that I'm living in the Dallas area, could I expect more time home versus Central?

The planners will run TL (truck load) different than LTL. There is no set pattern to running TL. If you want home time you have to communicate with your DM (driver manager) so he can work with the planners to getting you home. Don't get mad when they send you east but your home is west. They are just setting you up for you to go home. Sometimes you go east to go west and go south to go north. That's just trucking.sweetdaddy915 Thanks this.
