Hey Baritone, never mind on my last questions. I just got off the phone with Alice, and was told because of where I live, in the GREAT state of North Carolina, I cannot bring the truck home. This is a deal breaker for me. Bummer, I was REALLY looking forward to Cartersville.
Hey, it is what it is. Your still "The Man" !!!

There's a terminal in Eden. That may be something you can work with.

    Hey Everyone -

I know it's been a long time since I have updated my thread. I enjoy reading all the other threads that I am usually worn out and dont ever get to update mine. So thought I would fix that tonight.

Sitting in Pontoon Beach, IL waiting to grab my load in the morning that goes to Beaver Dam, WI. Easy run and will get it there tomorrow evening.

It's been a really "eye opening" few weeks or so. I starting training and have my first student for the past few weeks. It's actually going well and have really enjoyed the experience thus far.

We havent had too many long runs but has been good for him to get to some of the customers we have and so on. Wasnt sure how this would work - sitting in the passenger seat - but man have I noticed things on the right side of the highways that I never knew where there LOL!

All in all I am enjoying it and really look forward to seeing him graduate and getting his own truck. I guess knowing I was able to help means a lot to me.

I still have a lot to learn in this process and really working on patience more than anything. Funny thing is he is teaching me as well. Making me re-think some things I do and reminding me to do them better so I am setting a good example.

We'll roll out tomorrow and continue the journey towards his graduation - for now - take care and

    HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL!

Good to hear Baritone. You have Gtown with you still, right? That would be cool if it worked out where you were my trainer. You know you are in demand right?!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family. Be safe out there.

I used to be an instructor in my former life in the military. I can say you have the right attitude from what I've heard so far. Patience is a virtue. You should learn something from each student. They will ask question that make you think of things you never thought of before. Anyone who thinks they know it all is someone who is in for a rude awakening one day. I wish you much success in your training career.
