TA in West Memphis. Picking up a load in MS at 5pm tomorrow with 1 drop in Nashville, then 1 in springfield OH. Then home for the holiday. Get to come out after that, do 2 more weeks then upgrade.

I've seen a few references regarding West Memphis, so I'm guessing the rule about not stopping there has been relaxed or most likely forgotten. Good to know. Of course the next time Prime loses another trailer there the rule may be put back in force...

 

I've heard of no such rule and have spent a few nights there.

TA - Denton, TX. Loaded at Americold in Albertville, AL. 1400 appt that wasn't loaded until 2230. Delivering in Lewisville at 0500. Crappy end to the week with 3 day 900 mile load.

 

Now siting in Hempstead, TX in a little dive of a TS. 01 is in Austin, TX at 0600 tomorrow. 90 is is in New Jersey on Thurs.

JCW was told that W.Memphis was a place NOT to stop by both his trainers.

 

It's not a good place. drug dealers, lot lizards theft, just a bad place. Watch your back there and lock everything. but i do stay there when i need to.

 

My trainer told me the same thing as we passed through there, this was during the day and it was very rough looking. I do remember a place we went past, it was a breakfast / lunch / tattoo parlor. My trainer told me at night that same place was a major spot for drug dealers and working girls. I don't think I would want to eat there ewwwww!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
