So trancending this thread and going onto the next complaint...
Is it my imagination or are drivers getting worse about clearing the fuel islands?
Maybe I'm getting shorter patience in my dotage, but it seems more and more drivers are leaving their rigs at the pump (with space to pull up and clear) than ever before.
And it seems more and more drivers that clear the pumps, feel it's ok to go inside and spend as much time as they want.
Please guys and gals...keep the isle ways clear. If you're going to take a bit of time, go park the rig after fueling.

    Rant over (for now)

Last night when I fueled I also notice d how rude/lazy drivers are getting. Out of the 4 spots I had to walk past 2 of them had drinks poured out on the around in front of them. I do realize you need to empty your cup before you refill it but go do it in the bathroom sink or the sink by the drink station. I drag spilled fuel in my truck already I really don't wanna drag your nasty old coke/coffee in too!!! Not to mention this is just as bad as littering!!!

Even tho this about truckstop's , my other thing is shippers and rec's, i noticed this alot out east, but the docks are very narrow together, unlike out in the west were there alot of space between the dock's and there's my problem, i go too the one out east, nobody around ,at 1 am , easy back in, however when its my turn too leave 12 hours latter, there's a truck on both sides me, so i size it up i know my trl doors well whipe out there mirrors as i pull foward, so i get out my tiny chains , vice grips and racthet binder crawl under trailer , put vise grip, chain on both doors racthet it both doors tight against the trailers , then pull foward, crap ,cant turn , im up against the chain link fence with front, i hate these places, so i go bang on the doors too left , becuse its a one way exit, no driver, crap, go to there breakroom, and paige for this driver, comes up, typical eastern , ya wat you want homey, i tell him i would like his truck moved, need too get out, being very nice, so we go out , unhook and ask him too wacth my trailer swing on right side , he's a really nice guy, so i finnlly get out this tight hole, go back and help him hook up and gave a couple bucks , so he can go back too a warm cup of coffee, and thank him, but too me this just part of your job as a truckdriver, wether be in truckstop or shippers or rec :biggrin_25513:

maybe if its that tight of place to get out of they need to make people drop trailers til they are loaded/unloaded. been to many places that were like that simply because of not much room. i would be talking to one of the bosses about getting that done before i came out to a mirror or fender ripped off.
