How rude!I hope when you hit the big road you don't drive like a farmer and make sure all your trailer lights work.

My first suggestion would be to call the Nebraska Department of Transportation.
That will get you started int he right direction. I hope you don't have any work planned for the near future.giddyup306 Thanks this. -

Nope. I fly like no other, and lie like hell on my logs! -
I've been driving for 3-4 years. Just haven't had to deal anything out-of-state yet. Unless if you count when I was flatbedding. Corporate took care of all of that.apyles said: ↑There is a lot to share....... i am a newbie to this site just like you, I think bill or some the others will take the time to type out all the info that you will need, but there is a WEALTH of knowledge, to be had on the search bar, and also, read the sticky's about being an O/O
, its all here. Your experience says 0-1 years, Is this right? Sounds like a huge leap for someone just starting out.Click to expand... -
Everything you need is a click away in the sticky's at the top of this o/o forum. It gets tiring when 3 times a week there is the same post from someone like yourself, who says they "searched all over" yet didn't read one of the sticky's. They are there to prevent threads like yours. We're a nice bunch, happy to answer any questions that aren't already covered in 50 threads here. Having arrogance though, when you obviously know very little about the subject, will cause most here to kickback and laugh at you, much like the rookie that just solo'ed out, telling us all how we do it wrong. Do some research here and then get back to us. Till then,
apyles, BigBadBill, Diesel Dave and 1 other person Thank this. -
What is meant by ICC# is actually an MC#. An MC# is required to haul for hire across state lines. An exemption from this would be if you are hauling "exempt commodities" (i.e. grain, feed, cattle, etc.). Ooida's permit department, or someone like Rex Evilsisor, should get you in the general direction you need to go for information. Their services can be pricey for what they do, but, sometimes worth it I guess.

I hope you got deep pockets and a lot of time on your hands. Because your the kind of idiot who pays fine after fine and gets put out of service for 10 hours when you get caught. And now with the CSA scores. You'll have your authority and Dot numbers revoked faster than you received them.giddyup306 said: ↑Nope. Good luck with that.
