Thanks, I couldn't remember the name. You are correct on being self sufficient and so is Sandridge.

I thought McIntosh only drove bull wagons. Has that changed?

Yes, sold most of them and I think they have two bull wagons left. He has several brand new red Peterbilt day cabs pulling belly dumps out of Mooreland. He has a yard somewhere in PA where they do dozer work and I here his boy has a trash hauling up their to.

I heard that Schlumberger has bought the old Peterbilt location in OKC and that is going to be their maintenance shop and Cheasapeak has bought the old Kenworth location and that is going to be their Safety/Training center.

I do see the old Rush place full of Schlumberger equipment. Seems like I saw something at KW too but can't remember what.

so what other opportunities are there in SW kansas other than the reefer outfits that dwell in the plants.

i see prime, cr england, transam, central, ffe, helwigg, and a few other reefer outfits in the plants all the time, then there's national carriers which has its headquarter and 2 plants nearby, but i think u need 1 yr exp now for national :(

i also see a lot of o/o hopper trucks around here, must be the grain, as well as some milk tankers, so maybe an O/O can hire?

I think a good Diesel Mechanic in ND or maybe anywhere right now, could about name their price. Should be easy to make over $100,000 up north right now and probably a lot more. I did a search on the ND jobs site for 50 miles from the Williston area and like 200 mechanic jobs came up. I wouldn't sell myself too cheap right now, since Oil companies are making bank.

    hrtbr8kr Thanks this.
