bunker heater: Mine went out, I told them. they took there time getting me to repairs, and I stayed in a hotel everynight on their dime

cwc responce: not entirely true, I came here with a little bit of experience about 8 months total, 3 days orientations and i was handed keys and a load.

Robert smith, in your case you have up to date experience of course they will just hand you the keys and you are on your own, but in some cases they will still put you with a trainer if your experience is not up to date.

It is true what i said for newbies and exp. drivers that have not drove in 6 months to a year, i was not talking about drivers that are coming in from one company that already been driving up to the time they go with Prime. Prime drivers correct me on the longest you can wait between going from one trucking company to prime without having to get trained again, is it 6mnts or less or 6mnts to a year?

well my full size did not come with a bunk heater and apu will not be put in until 1/14
I am lease and had the option of turning off the idle restriction but I only idled one night cause it was 15 and my electric blanket did not work.

I bought a 12 volt electric blanket from a TS it was 24 bucks and it works great.

I believe you can use the reefer to charge the battery overnight. Little better, but u have to jump the truck.

You have to run the reefer in a continous mode for a minimum of 45 minutes of charging with cables before even attempting to start the truck.

If the reefer is in start/stop the truck will just drain the reefer's battery, while the cables are attatched when the reefer shuts down.
