No, but the cost of living is a hole lot cheaper and the working conditions are a lot better.

They teach yoyu how to stay alive if you get into an area where Hydrogen Sulphide is present. Just one small whiff of that stuff and your name appears in the obituary colunm.

 

If you think a HESS card is a credit card you need to do more research. A HESS card is a certification card to work for the operator HESS. There no HESS gas stations within 2000 miles form here. H2S is hydrogen sulfide gas. Google it. OSHA 10 is a "10 hour" OSHA class.

 

I wouldn't take everything you read on craigslist as gospel. That comment could be said about 100 trucking companies here running right now.

 

The pay is less but working conditions aren't better. Compared to them crappy lease roads in Texas I haven't met with a bad road yet up here in ND.
